A survey creator can require that only users with an SMS-verified phone number can participate. Every verified number can be linked to just one account — someone who has already verified a number cannot reuse it to create a second one.
When phone verification is on and the survey is limited to specific countries, the user's country is calculated from the verified number's international prefix — not the country the user types into their profile. You can't fake being in Italy from somewhere else.
Stops someone from creating a brand-new account and voting immediately to steer a result. The survey creator decides how many days of account history are required.
Voting in any survey requires a confirmed email address — filling out a sign-up form is not enough.
Every new account passes a server-verified reCAPTCHA check, blocking automated, large-scale account creation by bots and scripts.
